REGULATORY INFORMATION
The Thermal Regulation (RT) applies to all new buildings since January 1, 2013. Developed on the Low Consumption label (BBC-effinergie) to define the requirements in terms of thermal performance for any new building (or new part of a building) , RT2012 confirms the desire of public authorities to reduce the energy bill of the housing stock.
The Environmental Regulation initially planned for 2020 was implemented in 2022 (RE 2022). This regulation imposes requirements in terms of overall energy performance and must meet requirements that will concern insulation, airtightness, ventilation, heating and the use of renewable energies.
Thus, RE 2022 aims to transform the construction sector by promoting buildings that are more environmentally friendly and more energy efficient, while ensuring optimal comfort for their occupants.
External Thermal Insulation is a key element to meet the requirements of this new regulation.
